Demian Rufus’s “commie-electronic blackwave synthplop” concept album from 2010 recorded at home in Portland Oregon. There is sample material of dialog of “black actors” from movies over which Demian Rufus traces melodic voice-overs slightly randomly or personally [hence the Spinoza and Caravaggio references of "sad passions"]. He also adapts post-structuralist texts by M.Duras, JL Nancy, Bataille, Blanchot, Hocquenghem, and post-political autonomist text[e] by Franco “Bifo” Berardi. This cdr release comes in a DVD box with 6 doube-sided inserts and is now available from Demian Label & Distro for 10 usd plus shipping.
